Sure I have time to gather a bucket, ruler, marbles (marbles?!! because I often have those in my house, don't you?), string, a broom stick handle and tie the whole mess together just for my kid to write about how the bucket went up and down.  I'll just squeeze that in between haircuts (for both Things), piano practice for Thing 1, Take Home Reading for Thing 2, word study studying and swimming for Thing 1.

OK, so who is going to be the one to tell DH to lose the bootie slippers?  Yes, I know they were a free gift from his old company.  However, look at them.  It is 2010 dear and those booties need to go.  Yes, it is I, the blogger who was.  Going back to work and juggling the job of PTA president as well as being a mom and wife has taken its tole on me this year and I have neglected the blog.  Here are some holiday photos to let you know we are all alive and well.


  
Here's a photo of the original 4, before I broke off and got a new last name.  MIL was aghast that we didn't want to have a photo with the grandchildren in it- to tell the truth we weren't excluding them, it just never occurred to us to have them in it - this is our standard holiday photo we've been taking together for years!  She needs to MYOB.  Always thinks everything she does is the right way and everyone else is wrong.  Can't even conceive that someone might have a different opinion and that it's ok to have different opinions.  Can you tell she was here for 8 (*yes EIGHT!) days and has just left?  Time to vent baby!
